Star are a major supplier of Bureau, Corporate and Expatriate Payroll systems for the UK market. More than 70,000 organisations use their payroll software. Their clients include 60 of the top 100 UK accountancy firms. Their clients include Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan, and some of their competitors actually use Star’s payroll software in house (including Sage and Capita).

The Challenge:

As one of the leading developers and suppliers of Practice Management software to the Accountancy Profession. They set us the task of finding the best candidate to manage the delivery of high level payroll projects from consultation to implementation.

It was vital that the successful candidate had the technical ability and in-depth understanding of databases to resolve any system bugs or glitches without assistance so self-sufficiency was a key requirement.
