Our client is a well-established financial services provider looking to recruit an experienced Operations Director to help them expand further.

 

Role: Operations Director – Financial Services

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £90K + generous benefits package

About the Company

Our client is a well-established business operating in the financial services space, offering a range of products and services to both B2B and B2C customers.  The business has undergone a substantial period of rapid growth and is now looking to bring on board an experienced operational leader to review and streamline existing processes in order to facilitate further business growth.

About the Role

Our client have created this role in order to facilitate further growth.  The role will involve undertaking an in-depth review of all existing processes and implementing changes to improve efficiencies. The role will also be expected to introduce new systems where relevant as well as managing teams of people (both office and field based with a significant call centre presence).  The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the organisation and form part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive operational improvement within the organisation
  • Day-to-day management across various departments within the business
  • Develop existing team leaders and other high potential staff
  • Adopt new technologies and drive implementation of new systems and processes

Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will ideally have experience of overseeing a call centre environment (either B2B or B2C)
  • A demonstrable track record of delivering operational improvement
  • A proven ability of managing budgets
  • Substantial change management experience
  • Excellent people leadership and communication skills
