Salary: Up to £200K plus package (Flexible based on experience)

Our client is one of the leading luxury hotel groups with c.40 properties worldwide.  The business is in the process of embarking on a change in business strategy, focusing on a relaunch of some existing properties and expansion of their portfolio in Japan and China.  A brand new position of Director of Global Media has been created to build up the brand identity and ensure that any brand messaging is in accordance with the holistic business strategy across multiple different brands.  You will have responsibility for setting the media strategy, managing relationships with multiple regional agency partners and social media providers, and building brand identity.  You will have responsibility for managing a central team of 20 individuals with indirect reporting links from each of the groups differing media teams (separated out by brand – 8 brands).


  • Managing the internal and external stakeholders involved in developing and building the organisations Media Strategy
  • Budgetary management
  • Build relationships with Agency and Social Media providers.
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor staff.


  • Experience of driving business growth through successful media strategies
  • Experience of executing media strategies in Asia would be highly desirable
  • Prior experience of working for a blue-chip organisation in a lead Global Media role
  • Ability to be innovative and quickly adopt new forms of technology
