Commercial Director / CMO – Retail

Board-level role for a successful SME in North East England.


The focus is on creating a best practice customer experience and taking a leading role in the commercial direction of the organisation. This role requires with a brilliant understanding of (and passion for) brand development alongside a highly commercial outlook and perspective.

The business has been growing year-on-year and they’re in a strong position commercially and financially. As the business grows, it is critical not to lose focus on brand representation or customer touch points, therefore, a direct OMNI channel focus is critical to the success of the business.

You will report directly into the MD and feature on a small board.

The commercial element of this role will see someone work closely with sales, marketing, finance and ops to establish new and efficient ways of working; including getting involved in winning new business and account retention.
