Board-level role for a successful SME in North London. The focus is on creating a best practice customer service environment and taking a leading role in the commercial direction of the organisation.
This role is a hybrid position, requiring someone who has a brilliant understanding of (and passion for) great customer service and account management, alongside a highly commercial outlook and perspective.
The business has been growing year-on-year and they’re in a strong position commercially and financially. The structure is flat, with a CEO/Owner running a small board.
This position would be on the management board, and you’d work closely with the CEO to establish goals, strategise and further grow the company.
They have very positive relationships with their customers, but would like to better codify the customer service function; that will be one of the primary responsibilities here initially. They believe that customer service is not just an ‘add-on’, but that it should be an integral part of the business model.
Outside of that there is also room for some fresh thinking and new ideas on the management board. The commercial element of this role will see someone work closely with sales, marketing, finance and ops to establish new and efficient ways of working, including getting involved in winning new business and account retention.
