My client is a well-established, commercially orientated professional membership body that provide training and development services to individuals and advise on best practice and standards in relation to Sales practices for SME and Blue Chip organisations.
They are currently looking to hire an experienced Account Director to proactively manage existing accounts in the public and private sectors. You will be responsible for forming strong relationships, across all levels of large corporate companies. They have numerous well known businesses signed up as members across a variety of sectors, including Leisure, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Technology and Engineering.
- Deliver strategic engagement plans to achieve revenue retention targets and individual member retention targets across those accounts.
- Monitor and review membership arrangements to verify whether members are utilising the whole membership offer and instigate up-selling where appropriate to ensure members get the most from their membership.
- Maintain regular contact with the key accounts in your region utilising all methods of communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience of operating in a key account management role maintaining effective client relations and with a track record of increasing customer numbers/satisfaction. You will be able to achieve targets and have experience of operating in a consultative sales manner.
